• I agree with other users about the insensitivity of this Doctor both in bedside manner and office management. It was very much a "sit down, stab your toe, dig around, now go home" sort of experience. There was also an issue with my bill that took 5 years to sort out (not an exaggeration). I never received a bill, and therefore didn't know to pay, so she sent it to a collection agency. When I found out and paid my bill in full immediately, she said I also had to pay the $130 collection agency fee to get it off of my credit report. She refused to talk to me personally. I had to talk to her through an assistant/secretary, so we couldn't try to work anything out. She epitomizes the stereotypical doctor who is in it for the number of patients she can see and the most money she can make. I do not recommend Dr. Phalen to anyone! See her Yahoo reviews too...
